Dragon's Blood Stonecrop Sedum spurium 'Dragon's Blood' Zone 3-9 Small red flowers rise above bright green foliage in late summer to create a beautiful contrast of textures and colors. This plant really stand out when it is planted near rock gardens or borders, where the foliage will majestically cascade over the rocks. The green succulent foliage turns a deep burgundy red as the temperature drops in the fall. Semi evergreen. Plant in part to full sun and in well drained soil. Water regularly for best growth, but be careful to not over-water. A fast grower that can quickly reach 6" tall and 24" wide. his plant is surprisingly edible but has a bitter taste unless it is cooked.
