Q: I have a hosta that is getting too much sun and it is not doing good. What are my options? A: There are a coupling of things that can be done. You can transplant the hosta into a more shaded area, but transplanting always carries the risk of the plant going into shock and possible dying. The other option is to plant a larger shrub or small tree in order to provide shade for the hosta.
