Q: How do I repair a hole in my weed barrier?

A: Small to medium holes in the weed barrier is fairly easy to repair. All you need is a flat shovel, some scissors, and a piece of weed barrier.

Use the flat shovel to scrape away the gravel or mulch that is covering the weed barrier. Once the hole is located, clear the area several inches wide and cut a piece of weed barrier approximately two times larger than the hole.

Place the cut piece beneath the existing weed barrier (you may need to fold the piece to get it to fit inside the hole). Flatten the piece of weed barrier and carefully cover the repair with the gravel or mulch and you are done!
