Transformation Tuesday: A Backyard Built for Gathering

This once-barren field has been transformed into a cozy outdoor gathering space, perfect for crisp mountain evenings. We installed a winding flagstone pathway that leads to a custom-built fire pit, created with durable landscape block and set over garden wire mesh to deter persistent moles.
To add long-term structure and beauty, we planted Blue Spruce and Rocky Mountain Juniper—both hardy natives that will thrive in the landscape for years.
From snow-covered ground to a welcoming fireside retreat, this project proves that with the right vision (and a little mole-proofing), even the most rugged spaces can become warm, inviting, and functional.
