Q: I want to start fertilizing my own plants, is there such a thing as over-fertilizing them?

A: Yes! Always follow the instructions on the package of the fertilizer. When using synthetic fertilizers there can be a build up of salts in the soil that can also harm your plants (this can take place with constant use and over the course of time).

We recommend using organic based fertilizers that work with your soil to feed your plants and keep them healthy. Over-fertilization can cause leaves to burn, and can even kill your plants if you really overdo it. Just follow the instructions on the package and you should have nothing to worry about!
